My
name is Mrs. Kathy Gloster and I
teach 7th grade science at First Colony Middle School in the Fort
Bend Independent School District located in Sugar Land
Texas. I have created this site for my students to use as a
resource along with the current science curriculum. On this site you
will find everything you need to know about my class. In
addition, this site will help you keep up with the activities, test, and
assignments especially if you are absent from school.
The links will give you additional information to help with the
more difficult material as well as to enhance your learning.
In addition, these links will provide you with resource materials
for research assignments.
We have an exciting year ahead of us. Some of the activities
and projects we will be doing this year include: the Lego Lab, the Oreo Cookie Lab, the seasons flip book, an
internet activity on simple machines, the chicken bone
dissection, the sheep eye dissection, the heart dissection, making life size posters of the skeletal system and
a power point activity on the circulatory system. In addition,
there will be plenty of your favorite Science Guy films.
